An old house, brought back to life

Hello, I'm Janette. Casa Blanca is a bed and breakfast in a traditional village house on a quiet street in Castell de Castells, restored slowly and carefully to keep the things that made it worth restoring: thick stone walls, cool tiled floors and the simple, rustic details that give the house its character.

There are just three double rooms, so it never feels busy. You'll find a comfortable bed and a proper breakfast. Castell de Castells is a small, welcoming mountain village, with family-run shops, local food, a weekly market and plenty of quiet streets to wander, all surrounded by mountains.

Come in for a drink, stay for a bite

Casa Blanca is as much a place to eat and drink as it is a place to stay. The bar and kitchen serve local wine, cold beer, a properly made gin and tonic, and simple plates done right: tapas, salads, burgers and casual local bites.

Villagers, day-trippers, riders mid-loop, walkers off the trail - everyone's welcome. You don't need a room key here.

There's wine when the evening calls for it, live sport on the screen when it matters, and the kitchen is happy to cater for kids and special diets if you ask. And when you're done with the mountains for the day, there's the pool area to fall into.

  • Open to everyone, not just guests
  • New pool area for guests
  • Sunny terrace with mountain views
  • Live sport on the big days

Made for walkers and riders

Castell de Castells is surrounded by some of the Costa Blanca's finest riding and walking routes. Most of our guests arrive with either cycling shoes or walking boots, and quite a few bring both.

Whether you're here to climb the mountain roads, explore quiet trails or simply enjoy the landscape at a slower pace, Casa Blanca makes a comfortable base for both.

On the bike

The climbs the pros train on are all within a day's ride: Coll de Rates, the Vall d'Ebo, Puerto de Tudons and the quiet lanes in between. Ride straight out from the front door, then roll back for a cold drink at the bar.

On foot

The Els Arcs stone arches are within walking distance of the village, the Serrella ridge rises straight behind it, and the Vall de Laguar's famous 6,000-step route is a short drive away. I'll happily point you towards the right route for your legs.
