There are just three double rooms at Casa Blanca, and that's the whole point. Upstairs from the bar, each one is a little different, shaped by the old house rather than a catalogue: original beams, thick stone walls, rustic details that guests always mention in reviews. There is no hotel corridor here. Just an old village house, three rooms upstairs and the bar downstairs.

Three double rooms, each with its own character

Every room has a comfortable double bed, a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries, and either mountain or quiet village views. The bones of the house do the decorating: beams overhead, cool tiled floors underfoot, and the kind of quiet at night that surprises people who've been staying on the coast.

Rooms are made up fresh with daily housekeeping, breakfast downstairs is included, and the bar is a staircase away when the evening calls for a drink.

Worth knowing before you book

The bedrooms are on the upper floors, reached by stairs only; there's no lift in this old house. On the ground floor, the bar and an accessible toilet with grab rails are step-free. If stairs are a concern, get in touch before booking and we'll talk it through honestly. The rooms are for adults: children are very welcome in the bar downstairs, but Casa Blanca doesn't currently accommodate children overnight.

Small enough to know who's staying

Guests often tell us the thing they remember most isn't the room itself, but the feeling of being looked after. Breakfast downstairs, a chat about tomorrow's walk, a drink at the bar when you get back. That's what Casa Blanca is really about.

Breakfast is included every morning, taken in the bar downstairs before the day's walking, riding or doing nothing much at all. If you're making an early start for the trails, tell us the evening before and we'll sort a packed lunch to take with you.
